Obverse: Venustiano Carranza (1859-1920, Mexican wealthy land owner and politician who was Governor of Coahuila, and 44th President). "La Trinchera" - a mural painting by Jose Clemente Orozco (1883-1949, Mexican caricaturist[1] and painter, who specialized in political murals that established the Mexican Mural Renaissance) at center, bank title with S. A. Red series letters and a black serial number.
Reverse: Artifacts from Tula, Hidalgo; Chac-Mool (form of pre-Columbian Mesoamerican sculpture) statue at Chichen Itza.
